Epcot Center
Background Of Epcot Center Orlando
The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
(EPCOT), opened in 1982. Once again Walt Disney
took his cue from the new ideas and new technologies
that have been emerging from the creative centers
of American industry. This concept is best exemplified
by Spaceship Earth, the geosphere that has become
Epcot's true icon.
Epcot Consists Of Two Themed Areas
Future World has pavilions of countries
representing nations from around the globe, as
well as attractions featuring state of the art
technology. Restaurants and beautiful gardens
are all centered around a beautiful lagoon, it's
a unique park where you're certain to find something
for everyone to enjoy. Test Track travels
over nearly a mile of proving grounds, from hills
and bumps, to extreme climate conditions, and
a corrosiveness test. The Living Seas lets
you travel through a 400' long tunnel through
a Caribbean coral reef where there over 4000 sea
creatures in this 5.7 million gallon saltwater
aquarium. Mission Space gives you a one-of-a-kind
experience by launching you into a simulated space
adventure and a pulse-racing, liftoff followed
by the experience of weightlessness in outer space.

wares and enjoy performances, exhibits, movies
