Typhoon Lagoon
History Of Typhoon Lagoon Walt Disney World
Orlando
Legend has it that a terribly violent storm once
roared across the ocean, throwing surfboards into
trees, blowing small boats through roofs and impaling
a shrimp boat on a peak of a great volcanic mountain.
Left in the typhoon's wake are crazy tides, white
water rapids, long meandering waterways and calm
rivers. Navigating the nine exhilarating water
slides and streams' surfing on one of the world's
largest artificially created waves, Typhoon Lagoon
is the park for all your water filled needs.
